turn signal issues

got some turn signal issues here. they dont work unless i push the steering wheel all the way up. my hazards work and if i get on the brakes and almost turn the blinkers on and let off and almost turn them on again and let off i can fake the signal. 2002 f-150 4.6L supercrew 2wd

I guess that would mean a wiring or connector issue!
They all move with the wheel assembly.
Good luck.

Bluegrass, Could it be the multi-function switch?.... or because of the movement your thinking the wiring?
