anyone know where i can find the fuel adjustment screw for a holly four barrel E5HE-9510-EC list-50260-2 3405. I was told the part num. is 359747S ! I own a 1986 F-350 1ton with 460ci.
The idle mixture screws are in the bottom flange of the carb.
They are covered by tamperproof plugs.
I drill a small hole in the plug and crank in a screw, then pull the plugs out with a pair of vice-grips.
A cruder method is to grind off part of the cup holding the plugs.
I wouldn't even try to buy Holley parts through Ford. Go to Holley's website and you will just need to search for a parts breakdown. Jim is correct, the idle mixture screws on these are in the throttle body and are a real PITA to adjust. The holes in the side of the primary metering block are just the way Holley casts them. The screw NumberDummy crossed for you is a standard Holley float bowl screw, any place that carries Holley performance parts may have a pack of 4 on hand, if not they can probably order them.
Don't try and use the regular 26-101 Holley part number.
The large heads won't fit in the recess.
The link I posted is the correct part.
