I'm a big fan of KYB Monomax, but the ride isn't for the weak of heart. My old man prefers a more plush ride and really likes the yellow Bilsteins I put in for him.
I have the Pro Comp 9000's on my truck. They have a decent ride and it doesn't sway much since the P.O. took off the sway bars when installing the lift kit.
I was going to go with the 3000 series but was convinced to go with the 9000s. I hit up summit support for help on finding the right pro comp part numbers and he recommended the 9000 for carrying loads. I anticipate hauling my boat around and eventually hauling a bay boat so hopefully the 9000s will work out better.
The only shocks I ever ran on the truck were autozone specials. He said even with the 9000 series the ride will be night and day.
