I have talked to George Hartman, aka Earls 1st owner, and now want to finish the saga of Earls World.
He cannot add any new photos or info.,and either can I.
Can Morris or another moderator tell us how to include the final chapter?
Bill
I can't wait to see the final chapter. George has been an inspiration and I view earl's world often. http://www.clubfte.com/users/earl/index.html
Bill, the work you were doing was awesome. On Earl and all your other trucks.
I hope George is doing well. Has someone PM'd Morris? I'm sure he is anxious to hear more as well.
Hi Guys! Thanks for the nice words.
George is not feeling well for some time now. I want to do this for him and at least try to give him some closure on this old truck. I sent him a few photos, but he could look at the earls world site and see it done. I finished it the way I wanted, but also he said it was what he would have done too.
Hopefully I can drive the ole 56 over to Waynesville,or maybe even to Wisconsin where George and his wife moved to.
Not near as nice as he would have done, but it's done. Warp speed...LOL
I'm sorry to hear George is not well. I was always hoping he would recover from what caused him to part with Earl. I'm sure you have done Earl proud and I would say there are quite a few of us on here that would be willing to help get Earl to George so he can see it in person.
If there is anything we can do, even if it only helping defray costs of the trip, I'm sure we can come up with money. I know there is a lot more to it than just the cost, but we are a scattered group. When George had to part with Earl, I always hoped that he could drive it again when it was completed.
Bill, good to see you posting and sad to read George is not doing too well. Glad you got the truck done and can't wait to read the "rest of the story".

Sorry I`ve been busy pushing snow.
It`s sad to hear that George isn`t well, I`d always hopped that he would somehow be back here with us.
If you want to email the pictures to me I do my best to add them and if not I can ask for help.
Or if you want you can start a new thread....I`m sure everyone would love to see these pictures!
New thread, old thread, please, what ever it takes. Sorry to hear that George is not doing well. The original thread was an inspiration to me to work on MG back when. And, many thanks and rep points for the efforts and sharing the continuing story.

Bill - can you PM me info on George's whereabouts in WI? Depending on location, I'm certain there are a few FTEers who would proudly provide a 'drive-by' truck parade in his honor.
I will let him know. He might enjoy that.
Morris, will see what we come up with after we gather all the info and photos.
We both would rather it finish the pages on the ''earls world'' site so, it would not get alot of interuptions, and it would be there forever.
Will see.
Been traveling so not on much thanks guys!
