Viton valve seals

Are the "Viton" valve seals really much better than the oem seals?.I am told by machine shop they are.

I'm not sure what OEM material is, but Viton has good chemical resistance and can withstand a wide range of operating temperature.

rear main seal

Sounds like Viton is a better way to go than rubber seals.The rear main seal is offered in Viton also fromFEL-PRO.at fourty dollars it is pricey but rear seals are a bunch of work.thanks.
