Bummer. I've got family in Burleson and they posted pics on FB of their patio furniture covered in pea sized hail about an hour ago. I went to college in Sherman and I had a Nissan Pathfinder get annihilated by softball sized hail during a spring thunderstorm. All I couild do was watch in disbelief. The joys of north Texas.
On Monday, some of the Atlanta area was hit by 'baseball' sized hail. It really did a number on everything around. The area around Hapeville got bigger than 'golf ball' sized hail too. It really messed up a LOT of vehicles and homes. They had pics of dozens on the news that had been beaten up pretty bad. Some of the pics people took with their phones were amazing...and scary at the same time. I hate hail. Just had my roof replaced last year due to it. I hope your vehicle suffered no damage. It's getting to that time of year unfortunately.
+1 on the ATL hail. The wife was right next to the airport and got a half a dozen small dents on the hood and finally a full on baseball hit the top edge of the windshield and spider webbed it. 15 miles/30 min later another storm blew a dozen trees over onto the interstate as the idiot parade sat there and watched. She went MAD MAX and blew through 3/4 mi of traffic using the grass at times to get out of dodge. She's from IN and does not screw with anything remotely resembling a tornado. Oh...one hit 10mi south of us! Atta girl!! Drive it like you stole it when the poop hits the fan I always tell her. She did. Thank god I married an IN farm girl. I never have to worry too much about her. She gets it done!!!
