Return from Carlisle
Well we returned from our annual pilgrimage to Carlisle for the all Ford show. What an experience! It was Galaxies featured this year and they came from out of the woodwork. Shelby's up the ying yang, Mustangs everywhere, trucks made a good showing (the truck show is next month) and parts for everyone. We spent two long days of walking and still didn't cover it all.
For a return trip we took all secondary roads and it seems that '70's era trucks are everywhere. In the different states we transversed on the way home it looked like every other home had an old ford pickup.
Ford brought the concept vehicles, the Lightning, 427, Mustang and GT. I've got pictures of a lot of the stuff, except the Mustang, people crowed up so much I couldn't get a shot.
What a blast driving around Carlisle with all these big blocks. 427's, 428's 460's in everything from Cobra's, Mustangs, Trucks, Fairlanes, Galaxies and more.
It's a great trip if anybody is thinking of making it down.
