Dont ever but a fuel filter and cap from autozone those.some bitches sold me one for.20 bucks and i.figured it.was one hell of.a.deal so i bought it saturday put.on and today was the first day i took it.out.of.town i went to texas city.wich is a 25 mile.round trip. I burnt a q you arter of.a tank just gettin there i was confused.as hell. So we stopped at my buddies uncles house we park, then he tells me look at the road there was a trial of fluid following my truck. I look under it and sure enough theres a puddle of diesel i pop the.hood.and looked.at the fuel bowl and diesel was flowing out of the fuel filter cap i call auto zone and of.course tberes no.warrenty yet.oriellys and santa fe auto parts both have 30 day warrenties soo yeah enough for my rant needless to.say half.a.tank,of fuel for.a.25 mile.round trip fml.
Oh yeah btw i get 43.4 miles.to a quarter tank around town and its my.back tank so anouther question how many gallons are in my back tank
When you fill up the tank just see how many gallons it takes. The gauge is a little tricky sometimes. Mine will read below a 1/4 tank and I'll still have 6 or 7 gallons in the tank.
I almost bought a fuel filter from them too, good thing I checked the box first, no O-ring. O'rileys had it though.. I guess you can get the filters without a cap and O-ring. Don't really understand buying another cap, but the O-ring, gotta have that..
And Fordpride 19gal front, 18.2 aux tank.
I think 14 is about right.. I went over 200miles and just about 3/4 or a little more of a tank.. that's about 13.3, although, It could be better, that was just driving around on post for a few miles back and forth, no real wide open drives.
