Trying to figure out gear ratio

i am trying to figure out my rear end ratio in my 9" rear, so i tryed puting it in neutral jacking up one rear tire and marking the drive shaft and tire, and after several trials found that for one rotation of the tire the drive shaft turns 1.75 times. what does this mean and am i doing somthing wrong its hard to believe that is my gear ratio.. any help guys?

No tags on the rear end? With a 3.50 on it?
With only one tire lifted, the differential is turning the spider gears, cutting the turns in half. If I was a bettin man, I'd say you have 3.50:1
