depends on how far they can go with the tires.
a lot of time they can only flash to stock size tires, so it will help, but may not be spot on.
if they can reduce the tire diameter by 15%, then it will work, if not, it will still help some.
you might need to contact Mike at 5-star.... betcha he can fix you up!

The gears are the cats a--. The trip meter says I gained 2mpg. When the speedometer gets re-calibrated I will do a manual calculation on mpg.
I did talk to Mike at five star and he can fix me up for $400 plus. Jet performance was about the same price as five star. I'm going to work with the dealer for now and see how close they can get.

your trip meter is lying to you on the mileage.
to figure it out, take your miles per tank and divide by 1.15. then divide by the gallons.
200mi/10gal = 20mpg turns into:
200mi/1.15/10gal = 17.4mpg.
that will get you close. that is, before they mess with the tire size.

The dealer cant do it they can only go larger tire size.
Hypertech has a speedometer calibration unit for gear and tire size changes only. It is $200. at auto anything and I will purchase it unless someone says it wont work. I will be getting bigger tires when the stock ones where out so it will be used for that to.
