On my 97 f-350 7.3L, is the factory stock air intake system fine for general use? Or, should I invest in a high performance aftermarket? Also, I missed out on the recall they had some years back on the filter houseing cover, something with the screw down bolts or something, anyway, that recall has ended,,,where can I get the "recall" parts now??? Thanks.
Ok, thanks! I'll keep the factory air filter intake unit, and I'll look at that recall. That recall has expired, can I still get the parts? I guess I have to check with the dealer.

As far as the recall, did you check out the dealer to see if you are not eligible??
They should be able to get the parts unless they are discontinued..
