hi, i hear alot of people in hear talk about moving the rear sencor but i hear nothing about the front. i am considering fabing my owen bracket but i dont know how hi i can go before i max out the front air shock. has any one tried this or have any info that might help? thanks.
Check out the gallery of "averygenosi" (I think that's how you spell it). Avery's got a 7" Fabtech lift that uses a specially designed "extensison" of the rear track to lift up the truck. Don't worry about adjusting the front - it will level itself relative to the rear sensor.
Avery has been posting in most threads involving the LLS (load leveling suspension/air bags)
hey thanks for the info.. but keep in mind tha avery`s expy is only two wheel drive and dosent have to concern him self with front drive line angles or things of this nature..
on another note i have the new bracket being fabed as i speak should get tinstalling it this weekend ill post how it goes..
I still think that the front will just level itself out with the rear, even if you have the extension put on the trackbar. Just don't overdo it - we haven't figured out yet whether or not the system has a built-in limiter. Theoretically, you could inflate the bags until they popped.
ok i tried it and no the front does not match.. the front senser tellsthe computer that its level based on the distance the senser moves to reach its "O" point.. well good thing im makeing aan adjustable front mount..

Thanks for the info - I'll keep that in mind. I guess it only adjusts for slight changes - any bigtime mods will probably require the new mount that you're working on.
Keep us posted on this - I want to see how it turns out!
Originally posted by north west expy ok the new mount is made and road tested.. i have total controll over my ride hight for less than $200.. i love it when a plan comes together..
If you have one of those cheap disposable cameras, or a couple shots left on a roll of film, you can take the pics, and take the film to Wallgreen's, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, or any film develpoment center like that, and they can put the pictures on a CD for you!
