ok so I have a 2002 f150 5.4L 4x4 7700 and she was misfiring bad the other day I changed coil pack 1 and 4 because thats what my codes where reading and i changed all of my spark plugs just because the check engine light went away for a little over a day and boy was she running good she had a little hikup with a miss fire but it quickly fixed itself but later now my check engine light is back on and is miss firing again and this time it isnt fixing itself what is going on with my truck? please help
Check and see if you have a loose spark plug after your tune-up. Check the codes again and see which cylinder is mis-firing.
I dnt see how it could be a loose spark plug if it ran perfect for half a day messed up a little bit but fixed itself then ran perfect again and now jus bad again

Because the exact same thing happened to me after I let a local mechanic change the plugs on my 97 back in the summer. Ran great for a short period of time. Then had a bad misfire again. One plug was REALLY loose.
I'm asking again--what codes are being shown now that it's misfiring again?
