setting up my rig

I have a few plans in store for my truck. Its a 92 f150 4.9l. A few plans I had in mind for it was a 4in lift with 33s and most likely a 4.10 gear. When it comes to towing with the 4.9l is where things get iffy. I know I want to be able to tow a 2800lb car on a trailer. Will the 4.9l be able to handle that? Ive considering swapping to a 5.8 or a 4bt but the down time isnt something Im fond of especially with the 4bt considering I would have to convert the whole truck to diesel. I really need help weighing out the options.

2800 lbs is a joke for a 4.9 it just wont be as fast as a 5.8 but it will pull anything
