Hello all, I joined this forum in hopes of gaining insight and information for a first time restoration. I just purchased a 1973 F250 4WD with 460 engine. Not my first truck but definitely my first project of this scale. Looking forward to being a part of this community!

Welcome Hazard48! I'm new here too. I just bought a 1986 F250 2WD. I was looking for a 4WD but had to get one in a hurry as my daily driver was dying and ended up with a 2WD. Just out of curiosity, what kind of shape is your truck in now and what would you like it to look like when you're done restoring it...if you don't mind me asking.
Thanks AlanMac and welcome to you also. My '73 is sound structurally and mechanically for the most part(fingers crossed). Cosmetic is where all the work will be. The paint and cab interior are shot. Fair amount of surface rust but nothing that looks untreatable. I will get some pics up when I can. For the most part I would like to keep it as close to stock and original as I can.
