Which first Chip or Flowmaster?

Since both of these modifications effect performance, which would you do first on a 2003 4.6 f150? And what's the logic behind it.

Thanks

Which first Chip or Flowmaster?

I would go with the Flowmaster. I just got Dual Flowmaster 40 series system put on my 2000 last week and I love it. The sound is great and I have noticed greater throttle response as well as 2 mpg increase. Where are you from, because if you are in my area I know a great shop to get them.

I would wait with the exnaust and get the Superchip and K&N filter. With the chip you can change the shifting to make it alot firmer and you will get the throttle response with the new filter. Just my $.02.

Would have to say the flowmaster. Kinda leery about chips to begin with, something that actually alters the way the truck runs and everything is processed and calcuated without making any real alterations or adjustments kinda makes me think that if it were really beneficial it would be stock. Not only that, who can resist the flowmaster rumble!
