Thanks for the words of encouragement Brad!

I've got the Fuse block out of a Ranger that I'm wiring in soon; Just don't have enough heat shrink, connectors, etc to tidy it all up atm.

You should NEVER wire ANYTHING without some sort of protection, that is just looking to burn the truck up.

Second, heat shrink and connectores dont tidy up anything. Tape, zip ties and loom DO

I meant that I didn't have as many of the connectors, etc on hand that I thought I did.

Do you honestly think I do not know what split loom, etc are for or something?

It will all be connected to the fuseblock, and loomed asap.

Not being a *****, but why are you so adamant about this?

I put it in, because I wanted to. Simple as that. After it was more/less installed and I went to the shed to get the rest of the connectors to fix everything in, I found out I was short.

I appreciate the concern, but it will be fix shortly.

Adement about doing something RIGHT? And the 1st time?

I dont know about you but I like doing things RIGHT, the 1st time. I don't have time to be doing things wrong , multiple times.

Or post crap on the internet on how NOT to do things. Unless I said something some newbe would of looked at you hacked together mess and though that is how things are done, when in fact it is NOT

not wanting to get involved in this but if a newbie doesnt know that you should always fuse something do you think they will actually know how to wire somehting or do anything electrical. they probably wouldnt get to far cause they would forget to unhook the batty and shock or short something out and decide to have someone else do it or whine to their daddy

And steering wheel swap to one that was much nicer and newer than my old one...

Did you just change the bulbs out for that color change on the gauges? I've done it in the past with other cars, didn't know if these were the same.

That works. And how would I go about wiring in that explorer overhead console so that everything is functional? That thing would be a great addition to my truck.
