engine swap
new here im swapping 5.0 ho out of 88 mustang in to 81 ford f150 was wondering have complete mustang for all wiring harnesses will any of it plug up to the truck harness coming through firewall by driver side hood hinge

I am assuming the 88 is injected, so at that rate, little to nothing of the truck will be effective with the HO. There was no injection available in 81. Now if it should happen to be carbed, you have better chances of some thing s working, but the distributer is different, and the HO has a reverse rotation distributor. I am certain others have dealt with this, so will be able to answer more concisely.
