Ok so before ya'll jump through the ether and club me.. I know nothing about Suprecharging... I saw a supercharged f150 this week and my wheels started to spin.. I just bought a 2010 expy Limited. 5.4 with 55k miles.. getting about 15.5 around town 18 on highway. Can I have this supercharged as it is or do I need to rebuild the bottom end of motor and what does a SC get for me ? Do I only get more power but also MPG?

 

Any experience? Anything?

 

How much power are you looking to make and how much are you looking to spend.

For starters, you need to make sure your fuel system can support it; injectors and/or fuel pump. That, and it's likely that you will need aftermarket tuning, especially if the air meter goes out of range.
