Sounds like piston slap to me, that or the previous owner(s) ran it just long enough without oil. Did it just start to happen after you got the truck? or was it like that when you got it?

It may not leak oil, but have you found that it burns any? How many kms does the engine have?

That's an odd one, can definitely tell it's an engine knock. The only sure fire way would be to have the engine pulled and rebuilt, fluids aren't going to be able to fix it to my knowledge. I'm not of much help since i have never done a rebuild but that's what most knocks turn into

I wouldn't run it anymore if you want it as a core because I believe that is a lower end knock, keep on racing it up like that and you may have a rod through the side of the block. You may get away with a new crank and bearings if the rod isn't damaged, if it was me I would go with a new long block.

dunno if its worth it for me to fix it or not
what u guys think a
2000 F350 V10 109k mile with this issue
on 35s with 4 inch lift the big 4 door model XLT in with great interior is worth with this motor issue if i just sold it as is the other issue is that in 2001 the truck was stolen so it has a salvage title i am the second owner

If the truck was stolen, you never know how hard the thief rode that thing. There will always be the mystery of what was done. You will have to take it to a mechanic to get it inspected and quoted on a rebuild but it will get pricey. It all depends on the overall condition of the truck, if everything on it is super clean, it's worth keeping the truck for sure and getting a fix. But if there's some bad rust, lot's of parts starting to go.. well you get the point. In the end, it's personal preference on how much you like your truck

It all depends on how long you are going to keep the truck, if you keep until it's a rolling wreck the salvage title is no big deal but if you want to sell it in the near future future then it can be a problem. I would also look into a used motor.

^ to add to that, if you can get a steal of a deal on maybe a crate motor, go for that over a used one

with a knock like that, you pretty much have to subtract what it would take to rebuild or replace the engine. I wouldn't take less than 4,000$ if you say the truck is as clean as it is.
But that knock is going to turn off alot of buyers
