I have an aluminum 64 grille. 61-64 will work with no problem. 65 & 66 will also work but you will need to swap out upper valance or header panel for one from a 61-64 because of the turn signal housings.
On 61-64 the turn signal/parking lights are in the grille. On 65 and 66 there in the upper valance or header panel.
Or you can get creative like I did and use custom headlights with turn signals in them. Look at my avator or look through my galleries for the look.
No such thing as a chrome grille for 1964 as original. If you want a chrome grille for 1962/66, you'll have to have the year specific Standard Cab's painted steel grille chromed.
1962/66 Custom Cabs, 1965/66 Rangers came with anodizedaluminum grilles.
Only 1961 Custom Cabs came w/a chromed steel grille.
Thanks for the imput. Can I use the 66 reproduction from dennis carpenter, with top panel?
yes, you will also need to order new parking lights to work with the different upper panel i believe.
Or if it were me i would go with headlights that have turn signals built in like what Robert has. They may be cheaper in the long run compared to buying the new upper panel and such. And there are many different styles of those lights to choose from if you dont like the exact ones Robert has.

Take this information and do what you will. I sell grilles, I polish aluminum grilles. I had a guy locally (Orange County Ca.) who wanted a 66 aluminum grille, I gave him my price and he said "For that price I can get one from Dennis Carpenter" Keep in mind my grille was complete, headlight buckets headlight retaining rings and headlight bezels, everything polished and painted.
He bought a 66 grille from Dennis Carpenter, (he needed this grille for a customers truck he was restoring.) Well after receiving the D.C. grille he found out that he couldn't get everything to line up without doing some serios modifications. It seems that these grilles that say made in USA are actually made in china with not so good aluminum. Anyway after struggling with this for awhile he called me up. He wanted a U.S. Original grille.
My price jumped by $100.00 and he had to pick it up. Which he happily did. The truck was assembled with no difficulties at all. He is now a regular customer of mine. He eventually got his money back from me by buying more grilles. I called it an "Ignorance Fee"
When people give you good advise that you have asked for, take it. We've been there done that. When you choose to do as you wish, the "Ignorance Fee" applies. Happy shopping.
gangstakr has the grille you're looking for, and I can vouch for the quality of his grilles...that's
what he does-finds them, restores them for people...the whole smash.. I wouldn't waste your
time looking any further than there.

My two cents.

Thanks Jason,
No need for vouching But I appreciate it. Don aka camperspecial65 also has this grille. We both get parts for people who need them, Our parts are Original, and fit as they should. I as well as Don only grab the best parts we come across. I know I have passed up some parts that others would love to have, however they did not measure up to the quality I like to sell. I have to be picky because I don't have the room for a lot of parts.
So at least when it comes to OEM parts, used but in good quality, people have the oppurtunity to buy from at least two people here.
So check with camperspecial65 on his grille. If you want one polished let me know. Right now I have 63, 64 and 66 aluminum grilles, all need to be polished but I only polish upon request.
