Do I have to move motor stands and transmission crossmember to install a 1983, 5.0 and aod in a 1968 Ford truck that had a 360 automatic?

 

You will need the small block motor mounts from mid 69 to 72. They may be the same until 79 but I'm not sure. The tranny mount will have to be slid back a couple inches. The front driveshaft will have to be shortened several inches.
