Calibrating the MAF sensor..

Yup, the MAF sensor can be calibrated just like everything else, the uber expensive ECM re-mappers that you can buy do this via the ECM while a dedicated MAF sensor calibrator does the same thing for about $400 less, it's not as fancy and doesn't have a bunch of led's and a lcd screen but it does everything you want to do via a direct link with the MAF sensor.. It intercepts the signal from the MAF sensor and let's you make your own adjustments to A/F mixture, pretty slick if you ask me, there is a similar device that came out years which was basically a potentiometer or POT and a 1K ohm resistor, it also intercepts the MAF signal but you had to twist a **** to make the adjustments while your driving and you have to keep changing it as you as you speed up to keep the A/F mixture on the rich side of stoichiometry or 14.7:1. This MAF calibrator makes the adjustments while your driving, all you have to do is plug in your pc with the supplied software and start tuning..
You don't a fancy hand held programmer, just a MAF calibrator and your time, have fun..
