Air conditioned seats...???

I've been toying with the idea of running Air conditioned seats in my f100. I know it sounds like a crazy idea, but I'm wondering if anybody has done this?

I was looking for Lincoln Aviator seats because they are supposedly a self contained system and don't require ac duct work.

Does anyone have any idea what vehicle I should try to get ac seats out of?

Hey Slaney,
Welcome Aboard! Hmmm it does sound a bit crazy. You will want to make
sure the seats fit as a good starting point. Your info. has you from Wisconsin - odd that you would be thinking about A/C seats. We are in Texas - with the cowl open we very rarely use the after market A/C in our truck.

Some of those big leather seats from SUV's are pretty tight squeeze for our cabs. Sometimes if you post a pic you will get more response.

An Aviator isn't big. It's the Explorer version. Those seats are very comfortable. Not sure on the self contained part. Sounds like a good idea to me.
