4 reasons:
1: I love slammed trucks (I like lifted trucks too though but the other 3 reasons keep me from lifting it)
2: I have the V-8 gas so I can't ever go off road with it (most will say this isn't true though)
3: It's a 2wd
4: I drive 2.5 hours to Dallas every other week and the MPG will go up if I lift it and down if I lower it.

I think #4 is backwards...
Generally I do not like lowered vehicles. I have only witnessed one lowered ex and was not impressed. Hopefully yours is better.
I love a lowered Dually for some reason.

Lowered it will have better aerodynamics, and I will be doing some undercarriage plates to lower drag at the same time 
I'm thinking I might go for a mild lift instead now though, I really can't decide
