What tow tune you running? I pull just under 12,000 now and get about 4KM Ltr if I'm not into it. That was going to PEI and back. Campkins RV Centre.

 

The tow tune is 120 hp I THINK, I don't remember right now, my truck is not studded either

Yes I've been to Campkins to look around

 

That's pretty heavy for a tow tune. They are usually in the 65HP bracket. Do you have the Jake brake function as well?

 

Where would I check my 3 custom tunes, I usually just leave it in SRL, (street race lite) I think that's 150 HP.........I don't think the Jake is set up because its not studded

 

You don't tow in SRL do you? Did Tony do your tunes? He would have given you a guide with regards to use with them.

 

The Jake function just closes off the vanes of the VGT turbo and provides a little back pressure, No where near as much as a real Jake brake but does add a little extra stopping power and saves your brakes. Studs not really needed to use it as it's minimal back pressure.

 

It was the guys at Gearhead, Matt I think, No I don't tow in the race tune........that's bad, lol
