That's the whole reason we should have all stood up and blocked the HST. They don't (The Government) do anything with regards to pricing of anything due to the HST being applied to all purchases. When was the last time you heard Dan McTeag mention anything about fuel prices. It was before the HST came in. When the dollar is par so should everything else be. We as Canadians are nothing but a heard of bend over backwards clueless sheep up here LOL......

I learned about it when I was replacing some cctv cameras. Gerry explained it to me.
I ended up buying the cameras from Hong Kong way cheaper, and the listed price on the ones from Canada were listed cheaper before the "tax"
