new guy needs help
1953-56 ford truck, whats the difference in f1 and f100? 
i bought a 1954 front drum brake set up for my 1930 model A.. i would like to change the drums but can't seem to remove the drum from the hub.. is ther a secret to doing this? is it pressed on? who can help?

The F1 was the designation from '48-52 - became F100 in '53. These were all 1/2 ton trucks. There may be thin clips over one or more wheel studs holding the drums on - if not, a BFH is your best friend.

F-1's were from 48-52, and their steering and brakes are frequently used on Model A's and other juice brake conversions.
F-100's were from 53-on. Their front brakes are very similar to F-1's, but less "domed". They were used for many more years and are cheaper. Can't say whether they'll work for converting an A.
