new set up...

well, im back after a short break and i been deciding which i should upgrade to next. im goin with 6.5" component sets for my doors, probaly Adire Kodas or some CDT line, im gunna use rear fill *gasps* but im unsure if i wanna keep my current pioneers or get some cheaper speakers. next is the amp, either a Cadence A4 or Q4100 or US Acoustics USX-4085. next will be subs and its going to be ED e12o, im unsure if ill go with one or two, depends on how much $$ i have and the room i have, but most likely 2. pushing the subs will be either a JBL BP1200.1 or Cadence A7+HC or if i get one a JBL BP600.1. before all that is said and done a spankin new yellar top optima and hopefully big ol 200+ amp alt will be installed. then im gunna re do all my RCA cables with homemaders that i read about from tempes link page. gunna use some peel n seal to give everything a good amount of sound deadener. so hows it sound? ill probaly have it all completed by this winter or possible spring.

PS: what are some other 4 channel amp suggestions about $300 that do between 80-100x4 @ 4ohms.

Looks pretty damn good (except the rear fill ). If you know how to correctly use time delay, and/or lp the rears at around 250 hz, the rear fill will be acceptable. If done with scientific precision, it can be an improvement. It's tricky, though. If funds allow, go with Cadence all the way. An A4 and A7 would rock. The Koda's are about as good as they come. They're on my short list of replacements for my Type R's (along with Alpine Type X, CDT HD, and and ID Chameleons). Looks great, though. Hifonics makes some great, economical 4 channel amps. As does Autotek and Crossfire.

BTW, tomorrow is June 1, you know what that means...

my eD 15A is almost here

Crossfire, DEI or even the JL 300/4 you could get New on ebay for about that price.
As far as comps, i recommend the Rainbow dream line components for about $150 (maybe less) http:\\www.ampman.com

or also the Diamond Audio M3 OR M6 line are amazing.

Good luck Op!

For your dampening you might want to look into Mcmaster.com I think is the sit. You get a big sheet for $14!! I ordered two sheets and did my front doors and rear area and still have a little left. I will problem throw it into the front doors some more. Not sure about running home made rcas but Knukoncepts rca's are awsome! They look like monster cables rca's. You have seen the package deals ED has right? Those amps like pretty good........ I see mtself ordering a 4 ch real soon.............
