88 4.9 2wd worth switching to the saginaw pump?

While looking through the upullit I spotted an e series van with the metal saginaw pump and bracket on it.

The factory pump, or factory type replacement, not sure which, its doing fine on my truck outside of a small leak where the line was rubbing.

Is it worth the effort and expense to switch out the pumps on a stock 2wd?

If so, does anybody know for sure which lines I need to make the switch?

Thank you.
