What an absolutely beautiful day we had yesterday! I didn't want to be inside (work). Ate my lunch sitting in my truck enjoying the blue sky and nice breeze.
We got the paperwork turned in to the mortgage company to get pre-qualified on a home loan yesterday. Should hear back in a week or two. One step closer to getting our own house, and getting out of this crappy little slum rental. Hope to find a place with a few acres outside of town with a separate shop. That's the dream anyway.
Now we have to start talking to realtors. Uhhgg. I hate realtors. It seems like that's what people do that have absolutely no skills or intelligence. Every one I meet seems to lower the bar even further.
Maybe the next one will be good...
Or,
Anyone know a GOOD realtor? That actually LISTENS to what you want, and KNOWS how to do their job?

You would not believe the headache I had when I sold my old house bought my new house. They changed my closing date 3 times. Ended up costing me $5000 more than it should have keeping the old house for 2-3 extra months more than I should have.
