<b>There is a new game in town for TRADITIONAL style dropped I-beam axles.
A good friend of mine just spent the last year seting up a forge and building fixtures to drop beam axles and is ready to go into production. He doesnt have much in the way of inventory, mostly "A" axles and can be had on an exhchange basis or you can send in yours and have it dropped.
I am set up as a dealer for this already and axles can be sent to me at my business. Pricing will be available in the next few days here, way competetive with MorDrop and turn around is within a week.

There was an article in Classic Trucks ( June '03 ) about straight axles. Mid-Fifties makes theirs from scratch. The ends are CNC machined and the center is tubing welded to the ends. There is another manufacturer making them for brand C, also. The big advantage is no exchange necessary ( less shipping charges ).
