I need to replace the passenger fender on my '65 F100. I found one on CL for $40 that is in really good shape, but it's from a '66. Are the fenders on these two years interchangeable? I looked at photos and they look exactly the same, I didn't know if maybe there were some minor differences though. Thanks for your help.

What are the differences between the 61-64 fenders and the 65-66 fenders? Will they interchange what's all needed if say you have a 63 fender and want to put it on a 66?

 

They are the same so long as the wheel arch matches as 2WD and 4WD/ 1 ton rigs use different fenders. Aside from that the lone difference is fender/hood side nameplate location. 65-66 is on fenders. 61-64 is on the side of the hood. 61-62 used large spears on the side with truck model cast in. 63-64 used a chrome bezel w/plastic insert which has model on it.
