99 ranger 4x4 pinon seal leak

I have what appears to be a leak at the pinon shaft seal on the rear diff. I noticed that the bolts that hold the rear yoke are not conventional hex head bolts. Looks like I'll have to buy a special socket (probably an impact socket) to remove them so that I can remove the pinon nut and companion flange to get at the seal. Can someone please tell me the style and size of the socket that I will need.

First, welcome to FTE!!!!

I believe you need a 12mm, 12 point socket.
