Make sure you leave enough of yourself to be able to work on your truck after all your parts show up! Don't sell everything! Be the chits if your all flubbed up, sitting there drueling over your stuff, unable to move and put them in!

......gives a whole new meaning to "selling your body" LOL!! I could part myself out like a truck! There are lots of organs you can live without! LOL!! I just need to make sure I keep my beautiful grill!
OK, after doing a little research, I have decided i'm going ahead with the Stage 2s. I will do the T500 and tunes, and try my best to get e-fuel as soon as possible. I know I said I had no plans of upgrading the turbo, but later on when I can afford it, I will upgrade to a D66. And I will also do an IC when the money is there for it. I think this will be a more than adequate set up for what I do with my truck. So, anybody got a D66 they wanna sell.....CHEAP! LOL!
Not sure how the compare up. But Rob aka: Ford4Life7.3 told me," If you happen to choose a H2E for your turbo setup, i have one waiting for you." But like I said I don't know how the compare to the one your looking at. I was looking at the S468 when he told me that.

I don't know much about the H2E, haven't looked into it. The D66 is basically what they used on the early '99 vans cause there was no room for an IC. They flow a little more air and will lower boost numbers and EGTs from what I've read. They are also can be rebuilt.

It's the bestI can come up with on my budget Rick. Especially since Gabe mentioned having my stock turbo built into a D66.
There are a few problems I see with the D66. Majestic is going to run you 5-6 to rebilld (lol) your stocker. With stage 2's you still have too much fuel and not enough air. Look at the problems Glenn had towing. Constantly fighting EGT's and allegedly he didn't have as much fuel. You also have to buy all new plumbing if you ever want to go bigger in the future. Run the 2's tuned down for now. But an S series turbo when the dough comes in. I think you can get an S366 from Jake for around 7. Buy his T4 mount when you have a few more bucks and I'm pretty sure you could fab everything else. Then you're into an S series turbo for a little over a G. Personally, I feel this is a better way to go.

What exactly are the differences in a D66 and a stock turbo? If it's just tearing the turbo down and building it back with different parts, I would think that's something I could do myself if I had the parts, or I thought maybe try to find one from an e'99 van. I wouldn't mind doing an S series, but that will be a long ways off.
