HELP! cluster swap and wont start, stuck at work

I did a cluster swap from a 94 or 95 in my 94 f150 . For the tach of course lol. And now the truck wont start. Is there some wire that need moved around ? I'm stuck at wok unroll I figre this out any help would be great

Update: if I unplug the connection directly behind the tech, the truck starts. And also the terminals thingys that make the contact withe the pcb board and getting really hot
Any ideas?

I thought you needed to swap a wire or two on the 93-4+ trucks.
Hopefully someone with a diagram or has done it will post soon.
Keep searching on here. It's been done so many times there may be an answer.

94/95 (gas) should interchange. I put a 94 into my 95. Check the socket that the plug goes into looking for discoloration or damage to the film.

I've narrowed it down to a bad tach unit. Ill exchange it tomorrow and try again
