speedo correction

My brother is going to go from 255/70r16 tires to 265/75r16 tires on his F-150 2001 what does he need to do to correct the speedo?

speedo correction

I have smaller wheels on my F150. I had a SuperChip Programmed for the smaller diameter. Works great. You have to buy the chip and then have someone program it for you. If you have a V8 (I have a V6) you can get a Diablo Programmer and change the program in your ECU yourself, just type in the tire size and off you go.
