I just bought a real nice 94 bronco eddie bauer edition. And everything works great except the cruise. Ive checked the plugin and its in good condition and the fuses are good. Is there an easy fix for it that anyone knows of. Thanks
Vacuum has nothing to do with the Speed Control on a 1994 Bronco.
A1: VERIFY THERE IS POWER TO SPEED CONTROL SERVO
A2: CHECK FOR STUCK STOPLIGHT SWITCH
A3: CHECK BRAKE/CLUTCH CIRCUIT
A4: CHECK DEACTIVATOR CIRCUIT
A5: CHECK FOR STUCK ON SWITCH
A6: CHECK ON SWITCH OPERATION
A7: CHECK FOR STUCK COMMAND SWITCHES
A8: CHECK SET/ACCEL SWITCH OPERATION
A9: VERIFY SPEED SIGNAL
A10: CHECK FOR BROKEN OR BOUND ACTUATOR CABLE
It's a 95 but it's also a Canadian truck and from what I've gathered from conversations with people on here, it's different than the U.S trucks. I'm still map which apparently is very odd for a 95 but up here every 95 I've seen for sale is MAP.

In 1995 only the 5.0L engines with a 4R70W or a E4OD transmissions had the MASS air & SFI, all the rest had MAP. Also all the 1995 4.9L engines had MASS and SFI.
But your Speed Control should still have been all electric.
This is something I need to figure out as well. Up until now, I've just figured that the cruise in my truck doesn't work because the previous owner disconnected all the emissions equipment, and jacked up all the vacuum. I'm still trying to sort that mess out... Good to know it's electric though, maybe I can fix it before my 3600 mile road trip.

Wow that's quite the trek. I would hate to pay that gas bill haha.
Depends on the cause. As for me, I have had an issue two times. First time it was the switch on the master cylinder. Second time the servo went out. Picked up one at the local jy and replaced it. If you cannot find a truck like yours, the same cruise control servo is used on the Crown Vic, Town Car, Taurus, Van, etc. In otherwords, they are pretty abundant and very easy to swap. Only the cable and the mount are different and you will use yours for those. If this is the problem, it is a very simple fix, about 10 minutes to swap
