A good deal on a flatbed came around on my local craigslist, and I was thinking of buying it for my 87. I was just wondering if anyone has some pictures of a srw Bricknose with a flatbed? And how do they usually mount to the frame?
I don't have an info on the flatbed but what kinda condition your regular bed in and what ya gunna do with it?
The old bed is a genuine pos that's why I'm looking at flatbed. Someone went to town with a drill in thr bed, because there are a lot of holes in the floor. Dented up, scratched, and even torn in one spot. And there's no tailgate. So it's either 3-400 for a replacement bed on cl, or 200 plus fuel for a nice looking flatbed.
Edit: if you want the old one I'll sell it to you for dirt cheap, but it's a work truck box.
Here's the photo from cl if anyone cares to see. Good deck, new wood on the sides, and a built in headache/lumber rack, and he's asking $200. I think it's a good deal, personally, but I would appreciate input
