Probably a simple question but I am going to ask anyway since I am just a simple person. I want to remove the bed rail covers that came with my 2003 f150 Supercrew. How are the originals held down and might there by chance be holes in the rails for the pop in tie down holders that they sell? The Plastic rails are only a month old and they are getting chewed up pretty easily. I want to go to a diamond plate or something a bit more durable and would love to have the top rail tie downs and not just the ones in the bottom of the bed.
