So I did the Harley Davidson headlight mod to my truck last and before winter came I wanted to see if they where sealed good so I pressure washed my front end and sprayed the headlights really good and I didnt see any leaks. The other day I noticed that when I have them on the is fog on the bottom corners of them. I dont know if I should take them out and seal them again, or someone told me to drill a small hole 1/8? and fill them with compressed air like 20 psi and find the leak. Than I read somewhere that these lights might be vented?
Also I was told that maybe if I drill a few holes in the rear bottom that it would not fog up anymore?
What do you guys think?
Thanks....Gage
I'd check your seals. Dodges were known for this problem 94-01, and they had the horrid issues with lens cracking and terrible seals. The slightest crack or seal issue will cause head aches
Must be the seal, I had a bad seal just around my bulb once that gave me all sorts of moisture problems, siliconed around the bulb and never had any moisture inside the headlight again. What did you use to reseal your headlights?
So the headlight bulbs are newer, thinking that since the "fog" is on the lower part of the headlight Im thinking the lower marker light sockets are faulty? What do you think.
Thanks....Gage
Ok, I used the same stuff to seal my headlights about 8 months ago, they are still good. I installed hid bulbs, a few weeks later or so i had the foggy headlight, so I guessed that the seal was bad and siliconed all around the base of that bulb. Never had moisture problems again, maybe try that first??

Thanks...I will try that first, I have to wait till it gets warmer, because I dont have a garage for my rig =(
Do yo have a bigger picture of your truck looks really good, I dont think I ever see that paint combo before on the newer trucks.

Ah that sucks, I'm garageless right now too. Hopefully that works, I dunno about drilling holes.
Thanks, I don't think I've seen this paint combo in person either now that you mention it.
