urgent... ae help in fort worth?

06 f250 traveling from Colorado to fort worth... Ran great on the trip, but now idled rough and shakes. Sounds like an injector isn't firing... Left my laptop with ae in Colorado, but sg2 shows 2dtcs... All other gauges look normal. Thoughts? Anyone here in fort worth with ae that would be willing to help me out? I'm down in Burleson right now, bit can get anywhere in fort worth before gotng downtown for a conferenceat 3. Also available tomorrow after 4. Thanks for the help!

So at a local ford dealer now... They have a diesel mech here that is going to check it over for me. Symptoms are a rough idle and intermittent shaking. Under load the roughness goes away, but the shaking sometimes continues...

Bought it in October and paid for a basic warranty... Week after I bought it three injectors went out, so the dealer upgraded me to.the premier warranty... Total coverage for 24 months/24,000 miles...

Had the two middle injectors on that side replaced last fall, so with number 8 that left only the one original injector on that side... They offered to replace it at part cost only, so I decided to go.ahead and do it... So I've now had five injectors replaced in the last three months! So thankful I've only had to pay for two... And still hopeful I can get the warranty company to pay for it, though doubtful since I couldn't wait on their adjustor to begin work...

Yeah... $1000 is price for labor, standpipes, dummy plugs, 1injector, and blue spring... The second injector will run another $260, but at least I don't have to pay extra labor...

those AM Warrenty deals Suck its Always something

I had a Alternator die

Told them to replace it

Then Called warrenty Company told them whats was up well Since they didnt say Go Ahead with repair and I already told them to they Would NOT Cover it

I figured regaurdless the truck needed an Alternator no Matter Who told them to Repair it

They would NOT Cover it PERIOD

And it wasnt like I was trying to Claim a Bunch of other Stuff Either Just an Alternator

Pretty Chicken**** on there Part I will NEVER Pay for a AM Warrenty again

good luck dave

and never go on a long trip without that ae and a few tools again if you had All the Stuff to Address this issue it Would NOT of Happened ya Know Murphy's law

Yep, I know Benny! Never do it again... I think the culprit is that my blue spring is still on the workbench in my shop. They said I had low fuel pressure during diag, so they are putting a blue spring in it too... I guess ill sell my bluespring to my lodge for my other truck...

Yep... Only got three left to do, all on the passenger side. I went ahead and had them do the last one on the drivers side since they had it open... I'm gonna try to recoup the cost from warranty, but not holding my breath... Which side is harder to do? I will plan to do the last three myself if/when they go... Im thinking passenger should be easier cause there is less to remove?

So got my dummy plugs, standpipes, blue spring, and two injectors for $941 out of my pocket... AM warranty picked up $500 in parts and labor... Not how I wanted to spend my tax return, but could have been worse!
