I once saw some pictures where the owner of an ex added white lights between the bottom of the door and the step shining outwards to illuminate the area, and also added two for better backup lights. Anyone have any input on what lights or how to do this?

Russ, "AlaskanEx" has lights on his running board like you describe.

"flipped" taillights, not the first to do it but i really like it.



rear amber/white LED strobe lights.

here you go..I did these several years ago. But they just light up the ground and running boards. not by any means do they look like the ones AlaskanEx has. I do have a set of Piaa fogs on the back hooked into the reverse lights.

Like Rob, I did the running board lights, as well as front valance lights. It was awesome and I loved every minute of it. On a clear, dry night, I could legally light up the next lane over as well as any guard rails.

I need to get these wired up again.
