Ohio "think spring" BS thread
I don't plug it in during summer for most part. Only when it gets cool out.
Don't know why the little batteries are so freak'n expensive? Half the size, half the material, 3 times the price. Go figure.
Washed a couple vehicles on Friday, Spent a lot of time at the cabin, had a fire going all weekend.
I have a few road trips in the near future, Niagra Falls ( I'm going to take the wife and kids on this one), North of Detroit, Chicago (west side) and Pigeon Forge TN.
I'm not looking forward to the Chicago trip, all the others will be fun.
Got home this afternoon, tinkered in the garage and figured WTH, I'm going for a spin around the block. Two seconds and it was running. Purrrfect. Went around the blocks a few times and put it back away. The main roads are too salty/dusty around here yet.
Anyhow, he didnt want to be bothered and said if you take it all you can have it, and then says if you want the fire wood take it too.
The guy is moving and then he says if you want anything in the shed help your self.
So I did a shed cleanout on Friday and he calls me Sat morning and wants me to stop by. I get there and he says "All this on this side of the garage is yours if you want it and I'll be putting more in as we go".
I'm going today to clean out the garage. I love free JUNK!

So, I figured since this is the BS Thread, I hope its ok that I post this here. I need to replace the sunroof on my truck, and was wondering if anybody knew of any places that would be able to put one in for me or at least be able to help me somehow. So if anyone knows of a place that does stuff like sunroofs in Northeast Ohio, it would be great to know about them. Thanks for any help. Hope its ok to ask this here.
Jon- you might have some troubles with that if I had to guess. Those sunroofs were popular for a short time, then kinda faded away. Does it leak? If that's the case, id say take it out, put some sealer on it, and pop it back in. Then probably seal around it for good measure. (this is just an 18 year old's idea, take it for what it's worth. Haha)

The sunroof if you have the Tidycars or Ziebart by you they do sunroofs could try them or try yourself.

See the thing is that I don't have a sunroof to begin with. What happened was, years ago when ago when my Dad was getting the truck painted, he was taking out the sunroof and as he was taking it out it shattered.
So I need a new one, one step in getting it back on the road. My truck is a 88 F250 XLT Lariat, which did not come stock with a sunroof, so my Dad had one put in. What was in there was just a pop-up one, which is what I plan to put back in it. So the hole is already cut, and sunroof size is 17x35, which my Dad said is a weird size apparently. And thanks for your opinion, I don't mind that its from an 18 year old, I'm only 17 anyways.
Bmuhlbach thanks for telling me about those places I will have to check them out. And I'm not really too excited about doing it myself, I'd much rather take it to a professional to have it done.

Truck load of junk! Actually there was some good stuff. .......
new rake, some new oil filters, 5 gallons of new exterrior paint (I'll use this for my bee hives)
some srap metal, some good metal, waxes and polish, boxes of new spark plugs, roll of window tint, vintage metal tool sign. A lot of misc items. It was fun, and did I say I love junk!?
I had to pick up a NOS 1951 ford truck fender in New Baltimore MI and I did another garage clean out of 53-56 ford truck parts in Algona MI. Some really nice parts.

They have so much cool stuff in there. It's been a few years since I've been to one though. I wish they had one in Ohio, that'd be great if they did.
The last one I went was the one was the one in Lincoln, Nebraska when we went out there for my cousings wedding. That one was pretty nice. Its been about 10 years since I've been to the one in Michigan though, and I was only like 7 or 8 so I don't remeber too much about it but, still a little bit.
Seems like you're always finding stuff in garages.
Must be cool to find little hidden treasures like that sometimes. And what does NOS stand for? I've seen it used a few times on here and was too embarrased to ask since it sounds like something I should know.
