Based on the total number of "other" brands starting, and all the crashes I think it is extrordinary that Ford has the success they do.

In addition, Ford drivers rolled across the finish line first 16 times in the Busch Series and four more times in the Craftsman Truck Series. Ford won the Winston Cup manufacturers title and the Busch Series manufacturers title. Starting with Jimmy Florian's win in 1950, Ford leads all Winston Cup manufacturers with 539 victories all-time.
