The fuel pumps
My nephew - who knows my truck pretty well, mentioned the modules for the fuel pump part that is in the gas tanks...In my truck the rear tank is the only one that works at this time. Since I have had this Ford, the front tank has never worked. And a few folks have told me that 96' models were known to have that glitch. But the other day I was looking at the fuse box down below the steering column and wondered if there might be a fuse that is tied into the tank switch. What do you know?
