To answer the question, there's no real rhyme or reason. I typically only visit this bunch of misfits, so this is where I've found the problem. It's intermittent and can occur clicking on a thread or coming back to the main forum page. While the new page is loading it suddenly redirects to the address in the link I provided. This morning it did it at my initial visit to the forum for the day. That's when I copied the addy and started the new thread.

we're having a problem with one of the database servers, and we're running on a spare. Admin is going to do a fix around 8:00 pm Pacific time that should fix the problem.If you're online, sometimes you can back up, refresh and then continue, sometimes...you cannot. Sign off, try it again in about 15 minutes, usually can sign back on.
Early this morning, at 12:15 -12:30 PST, I attemped to sign on, got the Data Base jazz over and over again...finally gave up.

I had the problem again last night. Refreshing didn't help. Closing the window and clearing cookies didn't help either. Finally got the homepage to sort of load. Here is a screen shot of what the page looked like. After that I gave up for the night, which wasn't a bad thing...it was past my bedtime!
