Just bought a 2006 F150 how do i know if there is a lift kit in the truck. there are blocks under the rear springs . I want to put a 3 to 4 inch lift in.

My stock 2009 F150 has a block that looks to be rubber and is about 1" thick between the rear leaf springs and the axle perch. Rear blocks larger than that would probably be from a lift kit. Look at the front springs and see if there are any spacers on top of the coil springs.

Otherwise try to find another truck to park next to and compare the height of the wheel well openings.

 

yes there is a small block under the spring in the rear ... does not look like it in the front

 

So my guess is that just what came stock.

Most of the leveling kits are just a spacer on the top of the front spring with nothing in the back.
