Flareside / stepside stream
Got bedwood kit from mar-k. Boards are a bit thick, could of been about 1/32 to a 1/16in thinner. The two on the outside (wheelhouse) need to be worked over with belt sander. To fit between the edge of the bed and the cross members (that are part of the bed, not the removeable ones), in the corners.
Also have the hinge kit and hidden latch kit, to get rid of the chains. Still on the fence about doing it myself or passing on to body shop.
Probably going to take all the new wood spacers (for the under wood cross beams) and soak em in linseed oil. I dont want to build something thats going to begin to rot as soon as it gets wet.
Ive got a thing fer antique murdersickle's too. So the four main bolts that hold the bed down to the frame are going to be replaced with eye bolt's. So I have 4 permanet tie down points.
Anywho, sure I'll have more at some later date or time.
Prost.
