Hi everyone this is my first thread but I was
Hoping someone would tell me how to fix my heated seat
The passanger Side works great but the drive side (the one that matters )will not work. It's just a button on the side of my seat and a orange light comes on. The light will indicate that it's on but I still have no heat. The truck is a 2001 f250 lariat crew cab 7.3 diesel. Please help Michigan gets cold
My 03 did this, it was still under warranty when I bought that one so I had it fixed. Needed a new heat element. My 07 was also doing this, did not get that one fixed but have now sold the truck. My dads 08 did the same thing. Up here it is about a $500 fix at the dealership.
Thanks for the reply I hope it don't cost that much I can do the labor myself. Just wondering how much the part cost if it is what you believe it is. Would swapping the passanger side to the drivers side work?
I had the same issue with the 00 X. After doing research found the problem and failry simple fix. The seat wore out so when the new cover was replaced repaired the burnt connection. Funny thing is a few months later the other bridge spot burnt out.
